Team Development

Leading a healthcare workplace through the stages of team development is uniquely challenging. Between a high-stress environment, complex political dynamics and ever-changing policies and practices, building a healthy and functional team in healthcare can feel like a daunting task.

While you may not have the time or resources to engage in regular team coaching, sometimes taking part in a one-off team development program can make all the difference.

We offer a number of programs designed to improve your team’s effectiveness, relationships and communication skills.

Project Connect

You spend so much time at work with your colleagues—why not invest in developing a team that everyone enjoys being a part of?

The focus of Project Connect is to inspire individuals to build a more profound connection with members of their team. The overarching goal is to improve cooperation and foster a sense of comradery.

Through thoughtful, practical, and playful team-building activities, you and your team will discover a newfound connection that will benefit the individual employee and team collaborations.

During the Project Connect program, your facilitator will use proven techniques to build foundational components for healthy working relationships. You and your team will have conversations with your colleagues that you have never had before, learn about what is essential, and awaken a commitment to each other and the work goals.

Who is this program for?

The Project Connect program is ideal for teams who would benefit from getting to know each other on a deeper level and learning how to collaborate effectively.

Whether your team is brand new, struggling with conflict, or is generally working well, this program will encourage individuals to take their dialogues to a higher level and support their colleagues in a more meaningful way.

The SDI 2.0 powers the RQ you need to make better choices and use your strengths to improve your interactions with others.

In this up-on-your-feet, learn-by-doing program, you and your team will discover how to:

Collective Futures

Individual and team accountability is something most organizations would name as a crucial factor in their success.

But how do you actually set up processes and systems to encourage and support accountability in the workplace, all while fostering a positive work environment?

One of the biggest challenges for teams in designing their preferred future is determining a structure and processes to support a high level of integrity, responsibility, and results. The Collective Futures program empowers teams to set the direction of their desired future by developing a team charter.

We make this happen through insightful processes that facilitate collaborative planning and decision-making. Additionally, this program includes determining actions and individual and collective accountabilities. Furthermore, this process will address mechanisms for sustaining momentum and marking positive progress.

In this results-oriented program, your team will:

  • Identify current challenges and barriers with a focus on identifying the desired behaviours, actions, and shared responsibilities for enhancing individual and collective performance
  • Understand the purpose of a team charter as an essential tool for effective team relationships and team functioning for positive impact and results
  • Develop a team charter, a guiding document to be developed through discussion and decisions to include team purpose, norms, metrics of success, and actions that will produce the desired outcomes
  • Reflect on and celebrate the positive changes that participants are experiencing
