Dr. Michelle Jackman

In addition to a 22 year career in clinical medicine, Michelle is excited to support healthcare leaders through executive coaching. While she has long been a mentor and a teacher throughout her career, she first discovered the unique power of coaching when she worked with a physician executive coach in 2020. The transformative experience inspired her to train as a coach herself.

Now, as an Erickson Certified Executive Coach, Michelle is ecstatic to help physicians and other leaders in healthcare grow, thrive and conquer their biggest challenges. Having experienced firsthand how coaching brought out her strengths as a practicing pediatrician, medical leader, educator, parent, partner and friend, she believes strongly that working with a coach has the power to transform a leader’s approach to work and life.

Michelle currently practices as a pediatric obesity specialist and researcher. She has also been the clinical lead for the Alberta Health Services Pediatric Centre for Wellness and Health since its inception in 2012.

Outside of her medical and coaching practices, Michelle is a competitive athlete, youth race director for kids' cycling events and a highly involved member of the Alberta medical community.
