As a leadership expert and coach Leah strongly believes in the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. She is dedicated to working with people, teams, and organizations to connect with values, build strengths, explore possibilities, and to create remarkable change.
Before Leah’s career path landed her in the field of leadership development and coaching, she was privileged to serve extensively within health care in various leadership roles and a variety of practice areas. This experience is the basis for her sound understanding of the industry – the culture, the pressures, the opportunities.
Currently, Leah works with healthcare leaders and teams of all experience levels to chart a course for greater success and authenticity in leadership. Described as warm, compassionate, and committed, she offers a practical and insightful approach to leadership development and coaching, empowering people to take their performance to a new level. Leah’s fusion of real-world experience, education, and encouraging, yet purposeful approach, connects with her clients and supports discovery and new learning.
Leah has a particular interest in women’s leadership issues and founded The Calgary Leading Women Initiative, an open networking group that focuses on the challenges and opportunities for women leaders. Additionally, she gives her time and skills to the Women for Change Coaching Community; an organization that is committed to creating a community of support that makes coaching accessible to all women who are seeking a positive change in their lives.
Leah happily lives in beautiful Calgary with her husband, her five-year-old daughter, and two dogs.
